Le Peuple - L'Orchestre le Peuple

I was unable to find much info on this record, but it's a great one. My guess is it came out of the early 1970's, but there's no date on the record. It came out of France on a label called Moninga Star. L'Orchestre le Peuple is made up of: Kifouetti Loubassou, Alphonse Mavungu, François Mackosso, and Tino Muinkua Mvura.

    I became ecstatic when I saw this album. I have really been missing it since I heard it some time ago. But my joy became short lived.
    Track 1 "Massavi Fololo y'Africa" and Track 4 "Luta" having really problems. Can you please check it?

    My brother, I need your help. I had this album on tape almost 30 years a go. How do I get it and where to buy it? Amazon does NOT have it and I have no clue as to where I would get it, please if you can be kind enought to share I would send you some of my CDs to share with you too.

    The first song is NOT Massavi...it is Massiya Fololo Y'Africa!

    Justin: You can download each song (Nr 2 an 3) by clicking on the right side of the player > divShare. Thank you for correcting the title on track nr 1.
    I'm awaiting answer from Daniel about track 1 and 4.

      I can't believe it's been so long since I've checked back to this site. I will try and revive it. I'm in the process of moving, but once I get settled and unpack my vinyl, I'll dig this record up and see what I can repost. Sorry to not have seen these comments sooner. I never knew anyone actually saw my posts.
